RULES and REGULATIONS
To provide the safest environment for shooters, staff, and the general public, the following rules and regulations are
strictly enforced. You can expect to be expelled from the range for any action that violates these rules and
regulations.

The NRA's Three Rules of Firearm
Safety


  1. Always keep the gun pointed in a
    safe direction
  2. Always keep your finger off the
    trigger until ready to shoot
  3. Always keep the gun unloaded until
    ready to use
Rules of our Range


  1. No concealed or holstered firearms on the range
  2. No silenced firearms permitted
  3. Hearing and eye protection required at all times
  4. No fully automatic fire permitted
  5. No firearms chambered for .50 caliber or larger - except for muzzle
    loader and pistol
  6. No reckless rapid fire - all shots must be controlled
  7. No quick draw permitted
  8. No smoking on the firring line
  9. All uncased firearms must be stored in the racks provided
  10. All firearms stored in racks must have the action open
  11. All unattended firearms must have be unloaded and have the
    actions open; in the event that the action will not lock to the rear a
    dowel or a spent piece of brass must be used to block open the
    action. All magazines shall be removed
  12. Firearms are not to be handled while anyone is down range
  13. Anyone wanting to retrieve their targets or their own brass may do
    so during a cease fire, except during October and November (due
    to crowds) - No one will be allowed to cross the concrete.
    Access to the front of the benches is to be made from the left of
    the pistol line. *A cease fire will not be called for the sole purpose
    of retrieving brass*
  14. No more than two people at any shooting position at any one time.
    All others are required to remain behind the concrete
  15. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES or persons who have been
    consuming alcohol will be allowed on the range
  16. Children must be attended by an adult at all times
  17. Firearms maybe inspected by range officers at anytime while in the
    range facility
  18. Shoot only at targets whose numbers correspond to your shooting
    bench - No cross-range shooting is tolerated
  19. Unscoped pistols are not permitted at the 100 yard rifle benches
  20. Loaded firearms are not to be pointed above the horizontal at any
    time
  21. Should a problem or question occur on the firing line, contact a
    range officer immediately
  22. No intentional destruction of range property will be tolerated
  23. No standing or off hand shooting from the rifle points. Only pistol
    and black powder shooters may stand
  24. No tracer, steel or armour piercing ammo may bee fired on the
    range and shotguns are slug only
  25. Do not fire at the baffles
  26. Handgun shooters, bring your muzzle up on the target, not down
    on the target
